Looking for the eagle in the Philippines…

David and Peter are traveling in the Philippines, looking for the great Philippine Eagle. Peter has his Blackberry, and is sending in bits of information on their adventure via Facebook and Twitter.

In this photo, they are on Mt. Kitanglad. On this day, no eagle sightings, but they saw Long-tailed Macaques, Steere’s Pitta, Hornbills a’plenty, and many other wonderful critters. Quite the excellent adventure.
