Totally Wired

by David Tomb on May 4th, 2011

One of the pleasures of of travel is that there is often unexpected delights. That bowl of spicy crickets is another story. On our route through Cagayan de Oro on Mindanao to Mt Kitanglad where the Philippine Eagle dwells, I had a double take moment as we passed some astonishing urban scenes. Not sure if the local electrician requirement is to go to art school or if the art school requirement is to travel to Cagayan de Oro for inspiration. Both would probably be excellent and a natural fit. Nancy Rubin, John Chamberlain, Jackson Pollack – eat your heart out! The visit worked for me.

Keeping with the cultural mash up I urge you to check out the link of The Fall’s: Totally Wired. If somehow you were busy with Phil Collins etc. – you have a chance to redeem yourself.
